Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva

Vinification: Careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard and collection in boxes.
Temperature-controlled fermentation in open French Oak barrels with postfermentation maceration up to 28- 30 days after the beginning of fermentation. Malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees for at least 60 days. Elevation in oak barrels for 16 months.

Wine Characteristics: Ruby red wine tending to garnet, brings to an intense and long smell-and-taste sensation. It has an intense flavor of berries (blackberries and raspberries), vanilla and cocoa. Results to the taste as a soft and velvety wine, balanced by the presence of a sweet and intense tannic trace, that brings in the end to a chocolate aftertaste. It is a warm, powerful and structured wine, but also easily drinkable.

Advised dishes: Excellent both with red meat course – braised, roasted and stewed meat – and hard and mature cheese. Excellent meditation wine.

Serving Temperature: To be served at 18° - 20° C

Alcool: 13,5% Vol.
